Tropical Storm Idalia is forecast to become a major hurricane effecting the west coast of Florida from Tampa  through the Big Bend. The storm is expected to make landfall as a Category 3 hurricane on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 impacting counties covered under United Way of North Central Florida.
